1Padded shoulder sleeve
A padded sleeve sits between the strap and your shoulder, cushioning the area where the carrier rests against your body.
2Deep seat
The deep pouch forms a seat for your baby on your hip, supporting their bottom while keeping them close to you.
3Supports the M-position
The seat supports your baby beneath the thighs, allowing the legs to rest apart with the knees higher than the bottom. This is the M-position recommended by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

The cutest and the best quality material i bought. The previous two carriers i had bought are kinda usable after 1year because of the slight rough material . The Sideways Carrier is designed for babies from 8 months. Before using it, check that your baby meets Snugs’ requirements for sitting and positioning. If you’re unsure whether your little one is ready, contact us before using the carrier.
Will it fit me?
Yes. The Sideways Carrier is one adjustable size and fits parents from S to 3XL. The single shoulder strap adjusts in seconds, so both parents can share the same carrier.
How do I know my baby is positioned correctly?
Your baby should sit securely in the pouch, with their thighs supported, knees slightly higher than their bottom, and face visible. Keep their nose and mouth clear, and check their position throughout use. Our wearing tutorial shows you how to put the carrier on and adjust the fit.
Is this carrier suitable for longer outings?
The Sideways Carrier is made for shorter outings, quick errands and those moments when your little one wants to be picked up and put down often. Because it rests on one shoulder, it helps to switch sides from time to time. For longer stretches of carrying, a carrier that distributes weight across both shoulders may suit you better.
Can I carry my baby on either hip?
Yes, you can.
Can I return the carrier if it doesn’t work for us?

Is the carrier suitable for a baby with hip dysplasia or another hip condition?
If your baby has hip dysplasia or another diagnosed hip condition, speak to their paediatrician or orthopaedic specialist before using the carrier. The M-shaped seating position alone doesn’t establish that a carrier is suitable for every child with a hip condition. Your child’s specialist can advise you based on their individual needs.
